Donovan & Brooklyn Smith

Donovan and Brooklyn have been married since 2012 and have 3 wonderful kids; Mya, Wesley and Gilah, along with their 2 dogs Missy and Winter. They live in Cedar Rapids and have been a part of the Calvary family since 2020 and have served in the children’s ministry and the safety team.

Donovan works as an Electrician and Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor and now has a new job as a Electrical Project Manager. Brooklyn worked as a CNA prior to being a stay at home mom for 8 years, and now enjoys her new role as a Lead Teacher for Calvary Christian Daycare in the 3 year old room.

We are truly blessed to be a part of the Pioneer Club program and grow a ministry within a community needing a positive outlet for kids to go and learn about the foundations in God’s word and learn new skills, and delight in the mentorship alongside family and friends.

We also want to share the scripture God put on our hearts as we prayed through this decision
